Jakarta, CNN Indonesia -- PT Dana Tabungan dan Asuransi Pegawai Negeri (Taspen) is collaborating with PT Gemilang Hartadinata Abadi and the Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera). This is a form of Taspen's commitment to continue to present program and service innovations.

President Director of PT Taspen (Persero), A. N. S. Kosasih said, this collaboration is expected to help provide a home for two million State Civil Apparatus (ASN) throughout Indonesia and make it easier for ASNs to get prosperous savings of gold ownership with profitable returns in the future.

"One of the dreams of ASNs working in agencies throughout Indonesia is to become a more prosperous and prosperous ASN. Then how do we provide benefits for active ASNs? First, we are present with our subsidiaries, including Taspen Life life insurance, Bank Mandiri Taspen and others," said Kosasih in the 2022 Regional Finance National Coordination Meeting at the Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta.

Second, Taspen is starting program and service synergies with several companies, such as presenting a housing program for ASN with BP Tapera and a gold investment program with PT Gemilang Hartadinata Abadi. In the future, Kosasih said Taspen will continue to strive to improve the quality of services for participants through various innovative programs that are in accordance with technological developments, as well as ensuring the welfare of active and retired ASNs.

For this reason, Kosasih hopes that this collaboration can help increase the ease of active ASN in taking home loans with a relatively long installment period, even until retirement. This is based on the condition that each ASN can have housing savings, but not all ASNs are eligible to get a Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP).

According to him, if you start credit at the age of 25, ASN can fulfill obligations. For this reason, Taspen collaborates with BP Tapera so that ASN can pay in installments up to the age of 65 years.

"Our ASN is quite prosperous, they can't buy FLPP, but the house price above that is also too expensive to take credit to buy a house with monthly installments that ASN has to pay to buy the first house becomes very small. The credit is commercially viable for banks and ASNs, and can be extended until retirement," said Kosasih.

In detail, the pilot project of the Taspen and BP Tapera cooperation program will be carried out in the Solo area, in collaboration with the Regional Government. In this program, the Solo Regional Government will responsively prepare an area of 5-10 hectares.

Through this project, Taspen will ensure the use of the best quality of building materials for homes purchased throughout the ASN. The goal is that the house is livable, durable, has complete supporting facilities, adequate infrastructure and transportation modes to facilitate the mobility of ASNs in serving the country.

"With clear housing demand conditions, easy payments, land provision by local governments and development by developers, this program is expected to run optimally and make it easier for ASNs to own houses, and can be carried out in other areas on a larger scale," said Kosasih.

Meanwhile, Taspen's collaboration with PT Gemilang Hartadinata Abadi presents the "Taspen Emas" program. This program is "Tabungan Sejahtera kePEmilikaN EMAS", which is a Precious Metal ownership program (LM) for active ASNs and pension participants managed by Taspen, which can be paid in installments with monthly salary deduction installments by pay partners appointed by Taspen.

Kosasih said this is expected to make it easier for active participants and retirees to invest in gold LM which is flexible, and can be sold at any time with a good investment value.

The investment gold of the ASN is said to be physically shaped and not digital. This is also expected to make gold prices more competitive, because the LM vendor comes from the Holding itself, namely PT Hartadinata Abadi (HRTA) and the LM product has been certified by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) and has been standardized by PT Antam.
